Love this Christopher Kane for Topshop Croc dress.  That collaboration was so good.  As you can see the Marant boots are still glued to my feet.  They're just soo good.

I watch True Blood religiously and there was a scene from last weeks episode where we learn that "crocs love marshmallow." Who knew?

Just browsing online.  I am obsessed with Alexander Wang's Fall collection.  Miu Miu is killing it right now with its collection.  I went to the store last weekend and I wanted everything there.  Unfortunately, I can't afford any of these right now so I can just admire from a distance.  If I could have one thing, hmmm that's a tough one cause I want it all.  Why can't I have a dad like Veruca Salt and just have him buy me everything.

I Had A Dream

I had a dream about this outfit last night.  It was weird.  I woke up and I knew what I wanted to wear.  It was so vivid in my dream.  It made getting dressed this morning super easy.  I wish I could have more dreams about outfits because I would always know what to wear when I get up in the mornings.

A Touch of Pink

1.  I got these Christian Louboutin simple pumps on sale at Saks awhile back.  It was really cheap and hot pink so I couldn't really say no.  Navy and pink is always a good mix.  I heart these pants. I didn't realize that they were super sheer and see thru, but I actually kinda like it.  Its a great summer pant.  It could be worn during the day with a pair of flat sandals or dressed up with these pink pumps.

2.  I love this pencil skirt.  Another piece that I found on sale and couldn't walk away from.  The color is just shocking and vibrant.  It doesn't need much else.  I usually like to keep everything simple and easy.  That's definitely how I like to dress.  I don't like it when there is too much going on.  This Wilfred tee from Aritzia is my new favorite thing.  I got it when I was in NYC earlier this month.  I got two and I've been wearing them to death.  They pretty much go with everything.

This dress just popped into my head last night.  Its something that I haven't seen in forever.  I think the last time it's seen daylight was when my sister wore it once when she was pregnant with my niece over a year ago.  Its by Anna Sui and its just one of those pieces that will never go out of style.  Its probably over 4 years old, because I remembering wearing it around the time my sister got married and that was 4 years ago.  These Isabel Marant boots are pretty much glued to my feet.  If I could only go to bed with them.  Now I have to get the tan colored one that is almost impossible to get.  I did the impossible today.  I walked away from the cutest Isabel Marant dress on sale today.  It was so cute and it fit me like a glove, but I just couldn't do it even though it was marked down a lot.  Sigh. I know I will thank myself later.

Just playing around with my new Isabel Marant Dicker boots. They pretty much go with everything.  I can't wait to take them to London in September.  Lately I've been in a black and white mood.  Well actually this is my usual every day color palette.

Do you notice anything different?  I colored my own hair tonight.  I got sick of the horrible brassy color in my hair and wanted it gone ASAP.  I love the dark color.  Its pretty much how my hair looked before I started coloring it.  I never colored my own hair before and I so was nervous.  It looks a lot easier than it seems, but it was not. I am very happy with the outcome, it could of been bad.

Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2011

I have a weird obsession with peplums.  I think this Balenciaga belt is just genius.  I love how its used with pants and skirts over sweaters.  I need to get my hand on one.

P.S. the new Balenciaga site is amazing.  Now they have a full on-line boutique and they have everything.  Its dangerous.

Man's Best Friend

Givenchy Rottweiler sweater, Madewell boots, and Celine Luggage

  I have been obsessing over this Givenchy sweater for a long time.  Well I finally got my hands on it and its just ridiculous.  Its part of the Givenchy A/W 2011 Men's Fall Collection.  Womenswear has been a total snore lately and I've been just bored with everything, so I crossed over to the men's side and copped this sweater.  I couldn't help it.  I think the minute I saw it I was obsessed.  I manage to find the cotton fleece version on Bergdorf's.  It is sold out everywhere and almost impossible to find.  If you do, make sure you snag it quick cause it will be gone before you know it.  I just love the all back everything in this outfit.  Hopefully I don't scare anyone away.  Grrrrr.

I got these awesome Isabel Marant pants on sale from Net-a-Porter.  They're just great lounging pants that I want to wear everyday.  I have a soft spot of comfy   I found the most amazing Givenchy skirt on sale today at Barney's.  I will post pictures soon, but its something that must be seen close up because of the leopard embossed print on the jersey fabric.  Its very Carine Roitfeld.  Its amazing.  I was bad today, I also got the Isabel Marant Dicker boots.  They had them there and I couldn't resist cause they're just the perfect boots.  I can't wait to wear them in London and Paris this September.

So sorry for the absence and lack of posts lately.  I have been insanely busy with work and I am finally getting a moment to do a post.  This denim shoulder cut out is a new addition to the closet.  I got it about a month ago.  I love denim shirts and this one is a good variety with the shoulder cut outs.  You can see my Celine bag in action.  I love this bag.  I traveled with it when I went to New York recently and its the best bag ever.  My hair was all crazy today and I didn't know what to do with it, so I put it up.  This is a good way to give yourself a instant face lift.

So Topshop just came out with their A/W 2011 lookbook and I am very sad to see some blatant designer knock offs and these Guiseppe glitter boots were a victim.  I better wear these boots out quick before the rest of the world gets their hands on the Topshop version.  At least I know where I stand.  I am all about using designer piece for inspiration, but knocking something off so close, its kind of tasteless and tacky.  I see some Miu Miu and Alexander Wang knock offs too.

Anyways,  I am going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter tonight.  This is something I definitely nerd out for.  Totally Harry Potter freak.  I am currently watching part 1 on blue ray.

East Meets West

I think this was my most favorite room out of the exhibit.  I wasn't able to take a picture when I was there, but I grabbed this one off the Met's website about the exhibit.  I love the mix of East meets West with the Japanese inspired garments with American football pads. The details up close are insane and beautiful.  Its just so intricate with all the embroidery and applique on the fabric.  I want to go back so bad just so I can see it all over again. 

Savage Beauty

 Savage Beauty:Alexander McQueen Exhibit at the Met

I was in NYC for the weekend and top of my list of things to do was to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met.  It was definitely worth the 45 minute - hour wait.  It moves pretty quickly.  It really is something that everyone should see.  I loved everything.  I wish I could be in the exhibit all by myself.  The crowd was annoying.  I had to be sneaky about taking pictures because no pictures were allowed.  I took as many as I could without being caught.  My favorite room was where they had all the different screens playing different collections from of the past.  His shows were so theatrical and beautiful.  I also loved his Givenchy Couture pieces.  His clothes were so detailed and beautiful.  Nothing will do it justice.  I can't explain it.  One must see it in person to appreciate it.
