Current Addiction

So my current wardrobe has become sportier by the minute. My mom calls it very dramatic. It comes from my recent obsession with getting back in shape again.  I have picked up Pilates and spinning in the last couple of weeks.  I have been hiking more as well when the weather permits and that is about 99% of the time here in LA.  I am about to start boxing again which I am very excited for.  All of these activities has sparked my current addiction for Lululemon.  I never really obsessed about the brand before.  I had a few pairs of their pants, but I was not an addict.  This past week, I have officially become an addict and it is a little scary.  I suppose all the money I am not spending on Isabel Marant and whatever else I am buying wunder unders and sport bras.  How many crops can a girl have because 1 is definitely not enough.  I am not blogging as much anymore, but my Instagram is a very good source to keep up with my current addictions and wardrobe.  Follow me at LoveMargs

Peter Pilotto x Target

Peter Pilotto x Target

And another designer collaboration has come and gone.  This time it was British print masters Peter Pilotto.  I was beyond excited when I first heard the news that they were going to be the next Target collaborators.  The collection was print heavy which was no surprised.  I was a bit skeptical to shop online due to the fit and silhouette of most of the pieces in the collection.  I was one of the early birds that showed up at Target yesterday morning with my friend.  I was a bit bummed about most of the items.  I felt that the hems were a tad too long.  I wanted to go and cut everything.  Maybe its just our body proportions to the collection.  Anyhow, I did get some pieces.

I loved the floral blue print jersey dress.  The fit was great on this piece.  Again, I would probably take the hem up about an 1 inch or so.

The sweatshirt was a favorite.  Easy piece to wear.  I am actually wearing it at the moment.

I picked up the romper.  I am a bit on the fence about it.  I think this going be returned.  If anyone wants a size 4, let me know.

V-Day

Mango denim jacket (get it here) / Jennifer Fisher x Stop It Right Now choker (get it here) / Saint Laurent Mini Betty (get it here) / Equipment washed silk camisole (get it here) / Frame denim (get it here) / Gianvito Rossi PVC mules (get it here) / Gianvito Rossi pumps (get it here) /  Gianvito Rossi open toe mules (get it here)
Valentine's day is just around the corner.  Thought I make a perfect date outfit for the occasion. Whether it is with a S.O. or your girlfriends, this outfit is a no brainer.  I like to keep things simple and a bit understated when it comes to date outfits.  Do not make it too fussy and complicated.  Show a little bit of skin, in this case it is your decolletage.  My new obsession is black denim on black denim.  Not your traditional Canadian tuxedo.  I have not stopped wearing the Mango over sized denim jacket since I have gotten it.   Stock up on simple silk camisoles.  This Equipment one is perfect.  I have it and wear it with just about everything.  A pop of color will do you good.  A small red purse is always classic for me when you are wearing an all black outfit. Problem with a virtual closet, you have too many options.  In this case, I could not really pick a shoe out.  So I have picked three amazing Gianvito Rossi options.  He is just killing it.  Depending on your mood, any of the three would go.  Make sure you are not doing too much walking.  4 inch heels only looks so hot till it starts to hurt and you cannot walk anymore.
